Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you join the Lifestyle Medicine in Nursing course, including the free trial. Please read them before you enrol. If anything is unclear, contact us.
1. Who we are
The course is sold through our website, previahealth.co.uk, and provided by PREVIA- HEALTH AND WELLBEING LTD ("PREVIA", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17491573, and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC264965. You can reach us at Previa.thrive.transform@gmail.com.
2. What the course is, and what it isn't
Lifestyle Medicine in Nursing is an online professional development course for registered nurses, nursing associates, student nurses and other health and care professionals in the UK. It is educational. It is not clinical advice for any individual patient, and it does not replace your employer's training, local policies or national guidance. Always follow your own scope of practice and the NMC Code.
Our certificates confirm that you completed the course or a module. They are certificates of completion, not a professional qualification or an accredited award.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Your account is for you alone. Please don't share your login, because your progress and certificates are personal to you.
- Keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your access lasts 12 months from the day you enrol. Free trial access covers the first 3 days of Module 1.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and are the total amount you pay.
- Launch prices apply to the first 30 places or until the date we announce, whichever comes first.
- You can pay in full or in 3 monthly instalments by card. If an instalment fails, we'll let you know and pause access until it is paid.
- Payments are taken by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Organisations booking 10 or more places are invoiced. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel within 14 days of buying and get a full refund, as long as you haven't gone beyond the first 3 days of Module 1. When you enrol, you ask us to give you access straight away. Once you go beyond those first 3 days, the course has been supplied and the right to cancel ends. Workshop days have their own cancellation rules. Our refund policy explains everything, and it forms part of these terms.
6. Live sessions, marking and workshops
- Professional and Elite learners join a monthly live online session for 6 months from their start date. We publish dates in advance and record each session for those who can't attend.
- We aim to return feedback on your final case study within 14 days of receiving it.
- Workshop days run in person. Elite includes all 4 days, and Professional includes one day as a bonus. We confirm the city, venue and dates once enough people have booked. If we have to cancel or move a workshop, we'll offer you another date or a refund for that part of your place.
- Recorded practice conversations are role-plays with a colleague or volunteer. Never record a real patient.
7. Patient confidentiality and respectful use
Never share information that could identify a patient, a colleague or a service user, in written tasks, case studies, the community group or live sessions. Use made-up details instead. Treat other learners with respect. We may remove content or pause an account that breaks these rules.
8. Our content
The course materials, including text, tools, quizzes, templates and recordings, belong to PREVIA- HEALTH AND WELLBEING LTD or are used with permission. You may use them for your own learning and in your own practice. You may not copy, share, sell or publish them, or use them to train others, without our written permission.
9. CPD and revalidation
The hours we give for each module are a guide to the learning time involved. You are responsible for deciding how to record them, and for meeting your own NMC revalidation requirements.
10. If something goes wrong
If the course is not as described or doesn't work properly, tell us and we'll put it right, or give you a full or partial refund where that is fair. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for how you apply the course in your practice. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Changes
We keep the course up to date with current guidance, so content may change during your access. We won't remove anything you've paid for without offering something of equal value. If we change these terms, we'll tell you by email, and the version that applied when you enrolled stays in place for your current access.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own courts.
13. Contact
